§A weekly business reel

Business.
Made plain

New drops every week.

HALF A BILLION

$500,000,000

Two founders.
One company.
Five rounds. One exit.

§ Equity, a full journey00:80s

— A still from Equity, a full journey.

§ 02What you'll see

One concept per video.
Plain language

A few of the things we've already covered. New topics drop every week.

How equity actually works

Two people in a room → a $500M exit. Every round in between, with real numbers.

§ Equity

What a business actually is

An idea is not a business. A business is a system that does three things.

§ Fundamentals

The customer pain test

Most products fail for one reason — they built something nobody actually needed.

§ Customer dev

Engines of growth

Spotify, TikTok, and an Amazon store all grow — by very different rules.

§ Growth

The three jobs of a business

Open a bakery tomorrow. Three things have to be true, or you don't have a business yet.

§ Fundamentals

§ 03The format

What makes these different

01

One idea per reel

Each video stays on one concept. No grab-bags, no top-10 listicles, no scroll bait.

02

Real numbers, named businesses

Every term ships with a worked example. CAC. Margin. Equity rounds. Real dollars from real companies.

03

Plain language

No jargon for jargon's sake. If a first-time viewer would need to pause and re-read, the line gets rewritten.

04

About a minute

Tight enough to finish on the elevator. Dense enough that you'll see something new each time.

§ 04About

Made by an operator, not a marketer

I've spent the last several years building Simplx and Sahelli — two products that taught me, the expensive way, that pricing affects channels, channels affect retention, and retention quietly sets the ceiling on everything else.

Most business content online is written for engagement, not for operators. So I started making the version I wish someone had handed me on day one: short, visual, honest, and grounded in real numbers.
